Albert W. “Weasel” Wilson, 88, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Born June 22, 1928, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Walter Bailey and Mabel (Goss) Wilson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his stepfather, Russell Wilson; his first wife, Mildred E. (Bennett) Wilson, on Nov. 24, 2005; a daughter, Marie E. Wilson; brothers; Charles and Paul Wilson, Harold, Earl, Daniel and Paul Bailey; and sisters, Helen Hite, Loretta Strohecker, and Korina Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife, Shirley (Felmlee) Lockett-Wilson; his children, William A. Wilson and wife, Cathy, of Lewistown, Stephen M. Wilson and wife, Lisa, of McVeytown, and Deborah K. Casner and husband, Doug, of McVeytown; brothers, Howard J. Wilson and wife, Clarabell, of Granville, Ray E. Wilson and wife, Ilene, of Lewistown, Faye Miller and husband, Bruce, of Lewistown, Leon Wilson and wife, Iris, of Mount Joy, Roy Wilson and wife, Donna, of Carlisle, and Nelson Wilson and wife, Bonnie, of Lewistown, Kenneth Bailey, of McVeytown; grandchildren, Andy Casner and wife, Rachel, Britteny Norris and husband, Terry, Lucas Casner, Matthew and Brooke Wilson; and great-grandchildren, Sydney and Nora Casner.

Albert is also survived by: stepchildren, Sandy Dubois and husband, Dave, of Lewistown, and Brenda Michalchik and husband Fred, of McClure; stepgrandchildren, Blaise Michalchik and wife, Brooke, Jesse Michalchik and companion, Stephanie Wagner, Amanda Priznar and husband, Damian, Chad and Lance DuBois; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Leighton and Addison Michalchik; Aunt Tressie Sunderland; and many nieces and nephews.

He served in the National Guard.

Albert was a truck driver for Zimmerman Trucking for 30 years. He also drove trucks for Boring, Womeldorf, and Sunderland Trucking Companies. He also worked at Wilson Tire and Auto, where the girls loved him very much. Since retirement, he helped Shirley with Lockett Lures family business.

Albert enjoyed going to auctions, listening to country music, family get togethers, camping, and sitting around the campfire. He also enjoyed church functions.

He was a member Ferguson Valley Brethren in Christ Church and attended Parkview Church of the Brethren. He was also a member The Moose, Lewistown.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 11, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Pastor Ronald Stacey and Pastor Kenny Grove, officiating.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
