Anna K. (Anne) (Keogan) Hassinger

Anna K. (Anne) Hassinger, 96, of Lewistown died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born Aug. 12, 1918 in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Margaret (Hayes) and James Joseph Keogan Jr.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, James J. Keogan III, John E. Keogan and Margaret Keogan Coogan.

Anna is survived by: daughter, Willa J. Thompson and husband, David P., of Grantville; four grandchildren, Erik and wife, Kathy, Christopher and wife, Tamara, Michael and wife, Marla, and James Wagner; and five great-grandchildren, Calvin, Madeline, Robin, Elyssa and Heidi Wagner.

Anna was a graduate of Kensington High School and Temple Univ. Business School.

She was an executive secretary for 38 years at Otis Elevator in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

Anna was a member of Lewistown Presbyterain Church and Women's Christian Club.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29 at Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E. Third St. with Rev. Robert Zorn officiating with a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

A viewing will also be held from 7 – 9:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28 Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

Interment will take place in Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia.
