Barbara L. Molek, 84, of Yeagertown, passed away at 9:09 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born Oct. 27, 1932 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Stella (Knepp) and Harry B. Rager.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Molek, who died on Oct. 20, 1992, and her sister, Doris E. Rager.
She is survived by her son, Edward M. Molek and wife, Karen, of Yeagertown.
Barbara was a graduate of Yeagertown High School, Class of 1950.
She had worked as a weight master for 25 years at Eastern Industries in Winfield, Pa., retiring in 1997.
Barbara was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and loved flowers.
A viewing will be held from 1 – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 4 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham.
A graveside service will take place right after her viewing at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Milroy with Rev. Randy Traxler officiating.
