Cheyann Lyn Martin, 39, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at her home.
Born April 19, 1977 in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Linda (Rothrock) Benner, of Lewistown, and Steve W. Forshey, of Marysville and his wife, Susan, who survive.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her children, Shawnee Martin, of Duncannon, and Avery Bailey, of Dauphin; a granddaughter, Nyomee Martin, of Duncannon; siblings, Kristie Bailey and her fiancé Rick Vogelsong II, of Dauphin, Theresa Hackman and husband, Tony, of Hummelstown, Brittany Gray and partner, Kevin Hausmann, of Hummelstown, David Hetrick, of Harrisburg, and Amariah Hetrick, of Kentucky; and grandmothers, Alice Rothrock, of Yeagertown and Helen Aumiller, of Milroy.
Cheyann was a graduate of Susquenita High School, Duncannon.
Cheyann loved being outdoors, whether it be camping, hiking, or just walking in the woods. She had the spirit of a child from the 60’s, even to the point of her attire. She cared deeply for her family and friends and gave of her heart freely.
She was Methodist by faith and had great faith in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thus, she is now free of the pain and suffering of this world and celebrating in Heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, March 10 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown with the Reverend Howard Woodruff officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
