Daniel L. Heimbach, 63, of Granville Township, Lewistown, passed away at 6:01 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2017, at his home.
Born March 1, 1954, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Richard Heimbach, Sr. and Ida (Setzler) Heimbach, who survives.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Heimbach, Jr.
In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by: his wife, Helen (Behel) Heimbach, whom he married August 18, 1972; children, Tina Clark and husband, Barry, of Burnham, Kathy Reichenbach and husband, Richard, of McClure, Seth Willow and wife, Mistie, of Beaver Springs, and Brandy Ettinger and husband, Eddie, of Burnham; eight grandchildren, Jason, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Deidre, Issac, Conner, Candace, and Alexia; three great-grandchildren, Maelee, Isabelle, and Paeden; and siblings, Bob Heimbach and wife, Linda, of McVeytown, Herbert Heimbach and wife, Leah, of Lewistown, Viola Phillips and husband, Jeff, of Mifflin, Ida Goss and husband, John, and Tina Wileman and husband, Tom, both of Lewistown; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Daniel worked at Penn Stoves, which was located at the former Viscose plant in Lewistown.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and helping others in any way he could. He also enjoyed fishing and junking.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Randy Traxler officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the funeral home.
