David ‘Red’ Lamont Weaver, 77, of Lewistown died at 3:03 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his home.
Born Nov. 2, 1938 in Shindle he was the son of the late Olive (Searer) and Wilber D. Weaver.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Lou (Goss) Weaver, whom he married on June 22, 1957, on Feb. 12, 2015.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Weaver Zimmerman and a grandson, Brandon Scott Weaver.
Red is survived by: daughter, Cindy Reigle, of Reedsville; son Scott Weaver and wife, Deborah, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Tye Robert Weaver, of Lewistown, Rebecca Nicole Weaver, of Dothan, Alabama, and Nathaniel David Reigle, of Lewistown; and a great-granddaughter, Audrey Ann Weaver.
Earlier in life he worked at Westover Motors in Belleville as an auto body mechanic and at local garages; later, he worked as a property manager at Heritage Homes, in Lewistown, retiring on disability in 1982.
A private grave side will be held at Juniata Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
