Delores May Glant, 83, of Lewistown, passed away at 8:27 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at William Penn.
Born June 24, 1934, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Arthur A. Fultz and Alice Virginia (Miller) Botteicher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her stepfather, John L. Botteicher; husband, Glenn E. Glant, on June 10, 2000, whom she married July 4, 1954; and son, Steven Douglas Glant, on Nov. 15, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Deckard and Donna Robinson, and a brother, Donald L. Fultz.
Delores is survived by: siblings, Mary Elizabeth “Liz” Walker, of York, Betty Jane “Janie” Wagner, Jacqueline F. Eckert and husband, Harvey, and Shirley Dumm, all of Lewistown, and Nancy Wickenheiser and husband, Richard, of York.
Earlier in life, she was a dental assistant in Harrisburg.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Doris was an avid Penn State fan. She loved being around her extended family, especially the children. She also loved going to and hosting the sister’s reunion. She enjoyed music and singing, and earlier in life traveling and RVing.
A viewing will be held from 10 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16 at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 with Rev. Karen McCachren officiating.
Interment will take place in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
