Denise Mihalic, 70, of Milroy passed away at 10:17 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at her home.
Born July 13, 1947 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late Grace (Kyle) and Michael Mustybrook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Michael J. Mihalic, Sr., whom she married Aug. 3, 1968; sister, Billie Ann Gilmore; and a brother, George Mustybrook.
She is survived by: son, Michael J. Mihalic, Jr. and wife, Susan, of Fla., daughters, Kimberly Mihalic, of Milroy, Kristy Smith and husband, James, of Lewistown; daughter-in-law, Beth Dyal, of Fla., three grandchildren, Michael J. Mihalic III, Katie Thomas and husband, Doug, and Haylee Smith; three great-grandchildren, Liam, Carson, and Avery Thomas; and sisters, Betty Mae Kronader, of Virginia, and Mary Gene Bridge, of Pittsburgh.
She had worked at Fisher Sanyo Audio in Milroy.
A viewing will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 26 at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
