Eleanor A. McCool, 85, formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 1:35 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Shawnee, Kansas.
Born February 4, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Martha (Rose) and Carl W. Dillman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, William C. McCool in 1987; a son, Steve A. McCool, two brothers, and two sisters.
Eleanor is survived by: her sons, William C. McCool, Jr. and wife, Nancy, of Shawnee, Kansas and John R. McCool, of Sunbury; a sister, Madeline “Donna” Simonetti, of Yeagertown; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Lewistown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 106 N. Dorcas St., Lewistown, with Father William Weary officiating.
Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eleanor’s name may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, 9 N. Brown St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
