Frances M. (Ellett) Imes

Frances M. Imes, 84, of Mifflintown died at 11:15 a.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Locust Grove, MIfflin.

Born May 20, 1930 in Lewistown she was a daughter of the late Sarah (Moist) and Emmer Ellett.

In addition to her parents Frances was also preceded in death by her brother, William Ellett.

She is survived by: her husband, Rev. Harold N. Imes, whom she married on June 12, 1954; her children, James W. Imes, of Punxsutawney, Rev. Timothy H. Imes and wife, Rhonda, of York Haven, and Sandra K. Liuzzo and husband, Jeff, of Greenfield Township, all of PA; grandchildren, Andy and Neil Imes, Cyndee Noss, Candice Shipley; and five great-grandchildren.

She was a 1948 graduate of Lewistown High School and Eastern Bible Institute in 1953 which is now the University of Valley Forge.

Frances was a member and licensed minister with the Assembly of God Church.

She enjoyed reading and especially loved spending time with her family.

A viewing will be held from 10 – 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16 at Lewistown Assembly of God Church with Rev. Dennis Sproull officiating with a committal service at the church.

A viewing will also be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 15 at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.

 A private Interment will take place in Mt. Rock.
