Frances B. Thompson, 100, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:53 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Ohesson Manor.
Born June 5, 1917 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charlotte (English) and Charles W. Bailor. She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Thompson, on March 15, 2010, and her son-in-law, Gerald Lash.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Susan Lash, a grandson Mark Lash, and a great-grandson, Garrett Lash, all of Ellicott, Maryland.
Earlier in life, she had worked as a bookkeeper for the Mifflin County Library for 19 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Lewistown, 20th Century Club, past president of White Shrine, and volunteered at the Lewistown Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, at Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown with Rev. Narda Druckenmiller officiating.
