Gene N. Scott, 58, of Lewistown, passed away at 10:12 p.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at his home.
Born July 12, 1959, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Sandra J. (Applebee) and Carl L. Scott, Sr.
He is survived by: his wife, Lois A. (Deamer) Scott, whom he married May 10, 2000; his children, Amanda McTavish, of Lewistown, Erica Scott, of Fla., Patricia McTavish, of Lewistown, Laura Scott, of Fla., Kelly McTavish, of Lewistown, Courtney Scott, of Milroy and Sara Scott, of Lewistown; 11 grandchildren; and eight brothers and two sisters.
Gene attended Juniata High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corp.
He attended Calvary Bible Church, Lewistown.
Gene worked as a contractor, in building and remodeling, and was self-employed as the owner/operator of Scott’s Home Improvements.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
