James Wilson Packard, Sr., 65, of Lewistown passed away at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his home.
Born August 20, 1951, in Mifflintown, he was a son of the late Helen and Jay Packard.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
He is survived by: his companion, Karen M. (Williams) Packard; children, James W. Packard, Jr., Justin W. Packard and companion, Amber Strunk and Richard L. Packard, all of Lewistown; nine grandchildren, Justin Packard, Jr., Austin Packard, Ander Lyter, Kahlessia Packard, Isandro, Javontae and Octavian Gonzalez, all of Lewistown and Ivan and Kayla Perez, both of Elizabethtown; and a sister, Evelyn Anderson, of Mt. Joy.
James served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1976.
He had worked at Juniata Memorial Park.
James loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
