John A. Burcin, 71, of Mt. Union died at 1:00 a.m. Monday, May 18, 2015 at his home.
Born June 19, 1943 in Philadelphia he was a son of the late John and Adel (Urbanski) Burcin.
John is survived by: his wife, Connie (Reed) Burcin whom he married on Sept. 17, 2005; his daughter, Anastacia Bulick and husband, Trent, of Milroy; grandson, Trevor; granddaughter, Abigail; and sister, Barbara Shuey and husband, Dan, of Bellefonte.
Early in life he was a German registered mechanic, and later worked at Uni-Royal Giant Tire.
He was a member of Mt. Union VFW, VFW Post 7011 and life member of Yeagertown Fire. Co.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
