Margaret B. Gerhard, 81, of Lewistown, died Thursday, October 12, 2017, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Paul P. and Rose M. (Long) Gerhard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Alfred R. and Otto H. Gerhard.
Margaret is survived by a brother, Paul X. Gerhard and wife, Dorothy, of North Carolina, and a sister, Roseanna M. Weyer, wife of the late Richard Weyer, of Lewistown, and their children, Diane Stewart, Chris Burlew, and Linda Phillippy. Also surviving are nine other nieces and nephews.
She was secretary to the president/CEO at Washington Gas Light Company in Washington, D.C., retiring in 1993 after 33 years. She was also a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, with Father Jayaseelan Amalanthan officiating. Interment will be at Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 9 N. Brown St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
