Martha C. Murphy

Martha C. Murphy, 96, formerly of Washington C.H., Ohio, passed away at 12:40 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2018, at Valley View Retirement Community.

Born May 18, 1921, in Hillsboro, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ansel Chester and Nona (Duffy) Magill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carlos McNeal; second husband, Glen Murphy; and a sister, Henrietta Throckmorton.

Martha is survived by: daughters, Carolyn Landman, and husband, Jim, of Ohio, Sharon Schott, and husband Eric, of Port Matilda; five grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.

Martha was an avid reader and loved to learn. Her Christian faith was a guidepost throughout her life.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at her church in Ohio.
