Nola Pauline Laird, 81, of Lewistown, passed away at 5:30 a.m., Friday, March 30, 2018, at her home.
Born Aug. 10, 1936, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late Nolan W. and Pauline Mildred (Woodling) Musser.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her two brothers, Raymond and John Musser; and two sisters, Phyllis Reese and Regis Snook.
She is survived by: her husband, Donald Leroy Laird, whom she married June 8, 1957; sons, Mark A. Laird and wife, Rochelle, of Mifflintown, and Dwayne N. Laird and wife, Lisa, of Lewistown; five grandchildren, Mark, Paula, Chase, Katie, and Allison; 11 great-grandchildren, Holden, Brock, Ashlynn, Malaree, Kaitlyn, Autumn, Hunner, Harlee, Gavyn, Penelope, and Nolan; great-great grandchildren, Kadyn and Parker; and sisters, Thelma Shotzberger, of Lewistown, and Shirley Felmlee and Sandra Royer, both of Burnham.
Nola was a member of Parkview Church of The Brethren.
She was employed as a cafeteria worker by the Mifflin County School District for 19 years, before retiring in 1995.
Nola enjoyed shopping and loved her shoes. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 7, at Parkview Church of The Brethren, 990 Parcheytown Rd., Lewistown, with Rev. David Fultz officiating.
Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
