Rosalind L. Brannan, 88, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017, at William Penn.
Born April 9, 1928, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Mildred (Yetter) and John W. Royer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, William L. Brannan Sr., on Dec. 26, 1992; siblings, Jack, John Jr., Weldon Royer, Wanda Brannan, and Doris Osbourn; half-sister, Hazel Corly; half-brothers, Max, Robert and Bud “Chico” Royer.
She is survived by: her son, William L. Brannan Jr., and his wife, Joyce “Twigg”, of Lewistown; granddaughter, Terri Lee Louise Burkholder and her companion, Jim Frye; a great-grandson, Billy Burkholder, of Lewistown; siblings, Dorothy Stong, Daniel and Richard Royer, Ruth Bishop, Marie Miller, Linda Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
Earlier in life, she had worked at Lewistown Footwear and Joe the Motors.
She last attended Fairview Baptist Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Charles Carolus officiating.
A viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.
