Sharon A. Rook, 73, of Lewistown passed away at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at her home.
Born July 23, 1943 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Beatrice (McMullen) and Arthur R. Rook, Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Larry Rook.
She is survived by: son, Corey E. Thorne, of Lewistown and his wife, Gabriele E., of Grafenwoehr, Germany; grandchildren, Bryan Thorne and Dennis B. Thorne, of Grafenwoehr, Germany; nephew, Larry J. Rook, Jr.; and niece, Sue Wagner.
Sharon was a Methodist by faith.
She always loved and believed in her son.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 at Lind Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Randy Traxler.
All arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
