Shirley A. (Davidson) Peck

Shirley A. Peck, 85, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 11:55 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Pinnacle Health, Harrisburg.

Born July 30, 1931, in Milroy, she was a daughter of the late Luella (Tressler) and Clarence Davidson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” M. Peck, on Aug. 7, 1979; and a son, Gordon L. Peck, on Jan. 8, 2010; sisters, Jeanne (Jay) Treaster, Margaret (Dean) Smithers; and brother, Ronald Davidson.

She is survived by: her son, Douglas R. Peck, of Dillsburg; her daughter, Holly Dolby and husband, Steve, of Dauphin; and a daughter-in-law, Rhonda Peck, of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Loretta Davidson.

Shirley was a graduate of Milroy High School, Class of 1949. She worked at Lewistown High School until she became a LPN at age 51 and worked at Lewistown Hospital until retirement.

She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mechanicsburg.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Juniata Memorial Park, 9010 U.S. Hwy 522S, Lewistown.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Mechanicsburg.
