Thomas R. Bearley

Thomas R. Bearley, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018, at his home.

Born March 11, 1939, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Albert C. and Mary (Hannon) Bearley.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by: brothers, Charles, William, James, John David, and Robert Bearley; sisters, Betty Turner, Ruth Warner, Marguerite Treaster; a son, Charles “Frank” Bearley.

Thomas is survived by: wife, Margaret “Peg” Bearley, whom he married, Aug. 4, 1962; children, Mary Jane Hoover, and husband Paul, of Lewistown; Michele Bearley, of Lewistown; Nichole Cherry, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Victoria Reik, and husband, Matt; Christy Mellinger, and husband, Rich; Michael Hoover; Janelle Bearley; Kody Stein; Zachary Cherry; eight great-grandchildren.

He was employed by Fisher Electronics as a local truck driver and later retired from the company.

He loved playing fast pitch softball and was an avid walker who took part in walkathons.

A viewing will be held 10-11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2018, at Hoen-stine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John Walters officiating.

Interment will take place in Lind Memorial Cemetery.
