Dorothy Bradley Obituary

Dorothy Faye Bradley, 98, of Burnham, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born on December 6, 1925, in Reedsville, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Stella W. (Fye) Royer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,  John L. Bradley Jr. who passed in 2011; siblings, Gladys Seiler, Betty Keiser, Helen Strange, Mildred Majestic, Eleanor Smith, Mary Henry, William, Fred, James, Robert, Marlin and Glenn Royer.

She is survived by her children, John R. Bradley and Jill Ann Bradley, both of Burnham; and three brothers, Edward Royer of, Burnham, Charles Royer, Belleville, and Ronald Royer, of Dry Valley.

Dorothy was a member of Burnham Church of the Brethren.

She attended Reedsville High School.

Dorothy worked at the American Viscose Corporation from 1942-1972, and then she worked at the Foundation of the Blind where she later retired.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, quilting and sewing.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024, at Union Cemetery, in Mifflintown, with Rev.  John Walters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Mifflin County Library, 123 N. Wayne St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
