Anna A. (Annie) Snook, 82, of Lewistown, passed away at 4:57 a.m., Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Valley View.
Born June 7, 1935, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Jeanette (Kearns) Vanada.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: husband, Ernest L. Snook Jr., who passed in January of 1996; step-daughter, Irene Smithwick; brother, Ronald Vanada; and sister, Vivian Getz.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Feydo and husband, Mark, of Lewistown; Cherie Lane and husband, Jefferey, of Reedsville; Ernest L. Snook III and wife, Cheryl, of N.C.; siblings, Darla O’Donnell and husband, Robert, of Perry County; Calvin Vanada and wife, Evelyn, of Belleville; and Donald Vanada and wife, Eileen, of Mass.; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Annie was a member of Kish Valley Grace Brethren Church in Reedsville and a member of the Women of the Moose.
She liked to crochet items to give to friends and family and she liked flower gardening. Annie would volunteer her time at the Moose to serve meals for special events. She loved going to the beach, walking on the boardwalk and eating Fisher’s Popcorn. Family was always most important in her life.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with a funeral service to follow, with the Rev. Doug Sabin officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
