Due to illness I will be unable to attend Carl's funeral. His family has my sincere sympathy. I learn a lot from Carl about life, respect for other and his genuine caring for his fellow man. Carl serve the citizens of Mifflin County in many natural disasters and civil unrest. I will always remember the man who in a large measure was a mentor to me.
