Carol R. Frankhouser, 76, of Lewistown, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at William Penn Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Born on March 31, 1943, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Alma (Long) Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; her second husband, Cecil D. Frankhouser; daughter, Dana Shotsberger; grandson, Dusty Clark; and a sister, Betty Lou Spigelmyer.
She is survived by; first husband, David Shotsberger, of Fl; a son, Cody M. Frankhouser, and wife, Megan, of Milroy; and a lifelong friend, Grace Fogleman, of Paintersville.
Carol was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1961.
She was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Earlier in life, Carol owned her own beauty shop.
Carol enjoyed camping, horseback riding, crocheting, and taking care of her family.
A receiving of friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m., with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
Interment will take place at Lind Memorial cemetery.
