Delores M. (Thatcher) Hartley

Delores M. Hartley, 88, formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 1:55 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Locust Grove Retirement Village.   

Born July 27, 1929, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Yetter) Thatcher.    

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert E. Hartley Sr., on July 13, 2001; her son, Robert E. Jr.; and siblings, Carrol Buchanan, Jacqueline Herto and James R. Young.            

Delores is survived by: grandchildren, Dana Hess, of Mount Union, Fawn Darrow, Michael Hartley and Todd Hartley; six great-grandchildren, Robert David Burke Jr., Schae Burke, Cole and Dawson Hess, and Cameron and Isabella Martucci; great-great grandchildren, Dallas Hess and Brylen Bender; and a sister, Retha Gibson, of Syracuse, N.Y.

She was a member of the Salvation Army Church.

Delores loved spending time with all her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, PA 17044, with Salvation Army Auxiliary Captains Charity and Phillip Bender officiating.

Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
