Dennis K. Knepp, 62, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, October 25, 2019, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born March 18, 1957, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Donald Knepp and Phyllis (Aumiller) Knepp, of Lewistown, who survives.
In addition to his mother, Dennis is survived by: his wife, Carol (Laughlin) Knepp; children, Kalee Dupert and husband, Steven, of Lock Haven, and Caleb Knepp, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Aden and Austin Dupert, and Ryker Knepp; sisters, Rhonda Long, of Boalsburg, Tina Knepp, of Yeagertown, and Angela Hartsock and husband, Troy, of Lewistown; and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis graduated from Chief Logan High School, Class of 1975, and served in the U.S. Army as a medic from 1976 to 1979.
He was a member of Yeagertown United Methodist Church.
Dennis was founder and owner of Buck Run Hardwoods, LLC, which was established in 1986. Later, he took his son into the business, teaching him the trade of flooring installation and services and developing the business into what is in existence today. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, and looked forward to the many hunting and fishing trips to Pulaski, N.Y. taken with Caleb, his father, family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at New Life Church, 101 North Beech Street, Burnham, with Rev. John Walters officiating.
