Donald J. Doll, 87, of McAlisterville passed away at 12:22 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017 at his home.
Born April 3, 1930 in Saginaw, York County, he was a son of the late Kathryn (Krebs) and Frank Doll.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Frank and Stanley Doll; and a sister, Kathleen Doll.
He is survived by: his wife, Doris Jane (Bailey) Doll; step-son, Barry Ritter, of Lewistown; and his siblings, Joyce Bolding and husband, Richard, Glenda Baer and husband, Earl, Lynn Doll and wife, Barbara, and Sidney Doll and wife, Dorothy.
Donald served in the U.S. Navy, and earlier in life, had worked as a maintenance supervisor, retiring from York Container Company.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McAlistervile, and the Blue Juniata Chorus, singing bass. Don could fix anything; he was quite the handy man.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Rev. Erin Bovendam officiating.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
