Evelyn L. LeMay, 91, formerly of Yeagertown, passed away at 9:20 a.m., Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.
Born December 24, 1925, in Reedsville, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. “Earl” and Mary C. (Marks) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charles A. LeMay, whom she married in 1946, on February 9, 1983; four brothers; and six sisters.
Evelyn is survived by: her children, Michael A. LeMay and wife, Pat, of Milroy, Debra Jo Reigle and husband, Joseph, of Yeagertown, and Mark A. LeMay and wife, Lisa, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, Kelly Smith, Sheri Marker, Joseph Reigle V, Ryan LeMay, Amanda Koflanovich, Chad LeMay, and Haley LeMay; ten great-grandchildren, Kaya and Levi Koflanovich, Maura and Garret Horning, Kyle and Rachal Marker, Cassie Eccleston, Skye Reigle, Kannon Moyer, and Chandler LeMay; and a sister, Patsy Miller, of Reedsville.
She was a member of the Yeagertown United Methodist Church where she sang in the church choir for 65 years.
In addition to her love of music, Evelyn loved watching her Pittsburgh Steelers.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Weds., May 31, 2017 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Reverend Richard Bender officiating.
A viewing will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Weds, May 31, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
