Gary Lee Shawver, 60, of Reedsville passed away at 4:15 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2017 at his home.
Born Oct. 7, 1956 in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Eleanor (Bratton) and Merrill Shawver.
He is survived by: his wife, Joyce (Boreman) Shawver, whom he married Feb. 22, 1997; a daughter, Jessica Sierra Fye and husband, Robert, of Milroy, grandson, Robert William Fye, IV; brother, Raymond Krider, of Granville, sisters-in-law, Gloria Callahan and husband, Jesse, June Aitkins and husband, Daniel and Ellen Boreman, all of Lewistown; brothers-in-law, Lester Boreman, of Granville and George Boreman and wife, Sally, of Maitland; and a nephew, Danny Aitkins, Jr. of Lewistown.
Gary served in U.S. Army.
Gary was employed at Farmers Pride.
He was a member of Maitland Church of the Brethren.
Gary enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing with his grandson, and family get togethers where he enjoyed cooking on the grill.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
