Harold E. "Mike" Heath

Harold E. “Mike” Heath, 79, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at his home in Reedsville.

Born Jan. 14, 1940, in Ort Valley, Lewistown. He was the son of the late Robert Wesley Heath and Beatrice (Werner) Heath.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Reverend Leslie Doyle; two brothers; six sisters.

He is survived by: his wife of 59 years, Marian (Spigelmyer) Heath; a daughter, Susan McCoy and husband, Steve, of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Brett McCoy and wife, Nicole, Aaron McCoy and wife, Amy, all of Bainbridge, Sarah Doyle and Leah Doyle, of Pittsburgh, Joel Doyle, of New York; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Mae McCoy; siblings, George Heath, of Big Ridge, Doris Forsythe and husband, Nelson, of Lockport, and Harry Heath, of Hershey.

Harold was a 1958 graduate of Milton Hershey School. He was employed by New Holland, retired in 1998 after 40 years of service. He was a member of Ellen Chapel Church, where he had served as a trustee and sang in the choir. He was a 50-year member and past Master of McVeytown Lodge 376 F & AM.

Harold looked forward to vacationing at the Outer Banks and fishing trips to Canada with his family. He enjoyed the trips to Walt Disney World with his wife and daughter. Harold spent many hours creating and making his own wine. He enjoyed his friendships that were built around his volunteering at the Seven Mountains Wine Cellars.

A receiving of friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, 108 First Ave., Burnham, PA 17009.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am., Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Ellen Chapel Church, 11798 Ferguson Valley Road, Lewistown, with Rev. Mark Hill officiating.

Interment will be held at Mt. Rock Cemetery.
