James R. Carson

James R. Carson, 50, of Lewistown, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Hershey Medical Center.

Born March 30, 1968, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late James C. Carson and Anna M. (Gill) Carson, who survives.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by; grandparents, Clarence and Charlotte Gill and Charles and Patricia Carson; and a niece and a nephew.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by: wife, Kimberly A. (Cliber) Carson; children, James B. Aumiller-Carson and wife, Brittany, of Lewistown, Justin Capofreddi and husband, Peter, of New Lancaster Valley, Jessie L. Carson, of McClure, Kayla N. Johnson, of Bellefonte, Tyler J. Carson and wife, Crystal, of Burnham, Cordelle J. Carson, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Miley Carson, Sarah Carson, Dallas Joyce, Dreasen Carson, Emelia Carson; siblings, William Carson and wife, Dee, of Lewistown, Michael Carson and wife, Elaine, of Burnham, Gloria Clinger, of Lewistown; and former wife, Denise Aumiller, of Lewistown.

James was a Lewistown High School Graduate, Class of 1987.

He worked at Edge Cutting in Lewistown and Allied Mechanical and Electrical in State College.

James was a firefighter and life member of City Hook and Ladder.  He enjoyed go cart racing, sprint car racing and Nascar.

A receiving of friends will be held from 4 to 5 pm, on Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 5pm, at the funeral home.
