Jay R. McCaulley, 67, of McClure, passed away Saturday, Oct. 19, 2019, at his home.
Born May 9, 1952, he was a son of the late Harold McCaulley and Alice (Swank) McCaulley, who survives.
He is survived by wife, Linda McCaulley, whom he married in Nov. 1980; children, Beth Powell, and husband, Steve, of McAlevy’s Fort; Gina Fate, and husband, Bill, of Belleville; Sarah Winners, and husband, John, of McClure; Jay McCaulley Jr., and wife, Tasha, of Ocean Pines, Maryland; Cate Williams, and husband, Chad, of McClure; and 16 grandchildren; siblings, Harold McCaulley Jr., and wife, Debbie; Donald McCaulley, and wife, Brenda; Kevin McCaulley and wife, Patricia; Alice Corle, and husband, Randy; Brion McCaulley, and wife, Onda; Shannon McCaulley, and wife, Jennifer; Errin McCaulley, and wife, Christine; Amy Guinard, and husband, Rick, all of Bellwood.
He was a 1970 graduate of Bellwood-Antis School District.
Jay was a member and deacon at Big Valley Bible Church.
He worked as the production manager at The (Lewistown) Sentinel for 43 years, having retired just recently.
Jay loved spending the summers with his granddaughter, Jade, and hunting with his granddaughter, Kelsey. He also enjoyed fishing and farming with his son-in-law, Chad.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019, at Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville.
An added viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at Big Valley Bible Church, Reedsville, with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., with pastors Jim and Jeff Hartzler.
Interment will take place at Old Salem Cemetery in Milroy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jay’s name may be made to Big Valley Bible Church, 139 W. Railroad St., Reedsville, PA 17084.
