Jean E. Lynch, 77, of Lewistown, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at her home.
Born Dec. 10, 1941, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Campbell and Ruth (Bearley) Campbell-Warner. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by a son, Steven Lynch, and a brother, Les Campbell.
Jean is survived by: her husband, Gary S. Lynch Sr., whom she married Aug. 30, 1958; children, Gary Lynch Jr., of Columbia, and Stella Robinson and husband, Michael Sr., of Lewistown; five grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, and Whitney Lynch, Jessica Stoltzfus and husband, Jadon, and Michael Robinson and fiancee, Sara Leonard; four great-grandchildren, Kylie and Steven Lynch, and Jezdon and Slaydon Stoltzfus; a brother, John Campbell, of Lancaster; and sister-in-law, Carole Campbell, of Lewistown.
Jean attended Camp Curtin High School in Harrisburg.
She was a member of Lewistown Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Lewistown.
Early in life, she was employed at J & G Delicatessen and Scotty's Fashions in Lewistown. Later, she enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with Rev. Stephen Durr officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park. A reception for family and friends will be held from 1 to 8 p.m., at the family home, 100 Hartland Lane, Lewistown.
