Jeffrey R. Mackneer

Jeffrey R. Mackneer, 60, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Friday, October 25, 2019, at his home.

Born May 26, 1959, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Robert D. and Shirley Mae (Scyoc) Mackneer.

Jeffrey is survived by: his wife, Anna (Ripple) Mackneer; six children, Holly Mackneer and her companion, Angel Carrasquillo, of Lewistown, Jason Mackneer, of Kentucky, Jessica Clinger and husband, Troy, Chelsea Ripple and her companion, Richard Armstrong, Tyler Mackneer, and Macie Mackneer and her companion, Michea Wolfley, all of Lewistown; eight grandchildren, Kiera, Kassie and Kaylee Fry, Haiden and Gage Clinger, Adaleigh and Alaina Armstrong, and Landry Wolfley; and siblings, Brenda Wiser and husband, Dennis, of New Lancaster Valley, Gloria Michaels and husband, Gary, of Lewistown, Wendy Steighner and husband, Scott, of Kentucky, Dale Mackneer, of Lewistown, and Alan Mackneer and wife, Lindra, of W. Va.

Jeffrey was a dairy farmer and owner/operator of the Penny Farm in Lewistown.  He was very active in 4-H throughout his life, a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Camp Shorthorn in Potter County.

A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.  Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
