John Franklin Hubler, 91, of Belleville, entered his Heavenly home at 7:09 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Valley View Haven.
Born June 30, 1928, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late David O. and Mary E. (Hubler) Jackson.
John is survived by: his wife, Katherine (Stewart) Hubler, of Belleville, whom he married in 1946; children, James Franklin Hubler and wife, Robin, of Orlando, Fla., and Carol L. Kutchner and husband, Michael, of State College; grandchildren, John Franklin Hubler, of Ofallon, Ill., and Aaron Michael Kutchner, of Lakewood, Colo.; and siblings, David B. Jackson and wife, Barbara, and Jeanne E. Jackson, both of Lewistown.
He completed Lewistown High School's vocational technical program and graduated in 1946. John retired from the American Viscose Corporation.
He was a member of Evangel Baptist Church, Lewistown.
A memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, Oct. 28, 2019, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan Street, Lewistown, with Reverend Darrell Wireman officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
