Julie A. (Zimmerman) Carolus

Julie A. (Zimmerman) Carolus, 57, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital, after a brief courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 7, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Jack K. Zimmerman and Marjorie (Leonard) Zimmerman, of Lewistown, who survives.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Scott Carolus, and a brother, Scott K. Zimmerman. 

In addition to her mother, Julie is survived by: her husband, Timothy L. Carolus Sr., whom she married in May 1984; children, Timothy L. Carolus Jr. and wife, Angela, of Milroy, and Ashley N. Carolus, of Lewistown; and brothers, Andy Zimmerman, of Lewistown, and Joe Zimmerman and wife, Lori, of Harrisburg.

Julie was well known for working at West End Service Store for more than 14 years, as well as her most recent job at Gus's Pizza, alongside her daughter, Ashley.

Julie enjoyed horseback riding, camping and going to the beach.  She loved spending time with her family and her little dog, Tucker, whom she loved so much.  Your family and friends love you, Julie, and you will be greatly missed until we see you again.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
