Larry E. Dodson

Larry E. Dodson, 75, of Lewistown, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at his home.

Born July 20, 1944, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Walter and Catherine (O'Shell) Dodson.

Larry is survived by: his wife, Rosalee (Bryer) Dodson; children, Shari Pyles and husband, Marty, of Mechanicsburg, and Douglas Dodson, of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, Ava Pyles, Nathan Post, Chloe Pyles, Molly Crider, and Shane, Dylan, and Alexandria Dodson; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Keaton, Skylin, Nova and Ivory; and siblings, Joyce Parson, of Lewistown, and Donald Dodson and wife, Margaret, of Mifflin.

Larry graduated from Lewistown High School and served in the Navy from June 1962 to July 1965.

He retired from the Standard Steel Maintenance Department and was a consultant at Joe Krentzman & Son scrap metals.

Larry loved NASCAR, hunting and fishing, and spending time at his camp and with his grandchildren.

Per his wishes, there will be no services.  Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
