Mary Frances ‘Fanny’ Yeater, 93, of Lewistown, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019, at her home.
Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Esther (Walter) Aurand.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse E. Yeater; and siblings, Helen Ritter, and Nelson Aurand.
She is survived by: daughter, Betty Lou Williams, and husband, James R., of Lewistown; two grandchildren, Dee King and companion, Glenn Aumiller, Chris Williams and wife, Bethany; six great-grandchildren, Rachel and Daniel King, Skyler and Miranda Williams, Skyler Hagen and Geromiah Miller; two great-great-grandchildren, Hunter and Marley Williams; and siblings, Thelma Snyder, of York, Jean McCardle, of Lewistown, and Donna Aurand, of Lewistown.
Mary was a graduate of Lewistown High School, Class of 1943.
She was a member of the Alfarata Lutheran Church.
Mary worked at Howard C. Kline for 40 years, and later at Hoagies-N-More, where she enjoyed working with the public.
Fanny enjoyed craft projects: knitting, crocheting, tatting, and embroidery. She also enjoyed camping and reading books.
A viewing will be held from 10:30 to noon, Thursday, May 30, 2019, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown. A funeral service will follow at noon, with Pastor David Pennebaker officiating.
Interment will take place at Alfarata Cemetery.
