Miriam E. (White) Copenhaver, 88, of Milroy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, November 16, 2018.
Born January 26, 1930, in Centre County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Minnie (Uhl) Snavely.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by; her first husband, George F. White, who passed in 1972 and her second husband, Donald A. Copenhaver, who passed in 2002; children, Thomas G. White, Stella M. Hackett, Dennis N. White, Lois White; granddaughter, Melissa L. White; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by; children, J. Samuel White, of Granville, Robert E. White and wife, Shirley, of Reedsville, Jane M. Aumiller and husband, David, of Milroy, Jay Copenhaver and wife, Sue, of Mifflintown and Steve Copenhaver and wife, Janet, of Colorado; 15 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; special friends, Dion Auman and family, of Centre County.
Miriam attended Barrville Mennonite Church.
She worked at Sanyo where she later retired. Miriam enjoyed knitting and gardening. Family was always priority and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grand children, and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with Rev. Willis Swope and Rev. Carl Geissinger officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2018, and from 10 to 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall.
