Priscilla E. Slegel

Priscilla E. (Pat) Slegel, 74, of East Waterford, has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior.  She is walking on the streets of gold and enjoying her own home in the Lord’s Mansion.

She is survived by one known relative, a son; Dana Slegel.

Pat was a member of the Faith UMChurch of East Waterford.

She was an avid reader and would read her bible daily.  She loved to listen to the radio talk shows.  Church members and members of the surrounding community did their best to offer aid by taking her to doctor appointments, driving her to a store or engaging in simple conversation. Pat is world-renowned to people that have offered assistance to her as not holding back her opinion, and a knack for telling it like it is.

Pat lived simply and did her best.  It’s not known for sure how or why she ended up in the small town of East Waterford, she spoke very little about her personal life. She was kind in her own way. A genuine person living in retreat from public life and living out her years in peaceful quiet.

A memorial service will be held on May 9, 2018 at 11 AM, at the Faith United Methodist Church, 32 Main ST., East Waterford PA 17021.
