Richard “Red” F. Stydinger, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:50 a.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at William Penn.
Born March 1, 1937, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Paul and Marguarite (Showalter) Stydinger.
He is survived by: his wife, Jolene M. (Frymyer) Stydinger, whom he married Nov. 7, 1965; a daughter, Sherri Scheffel and husband, Bill, of Reedsville; four grandchildren, Matthew, Danny, Nichole, and Ava Scheffel; and his brothers, Harold and Roddy Stydinger, both of Lewistown.
Richard graduated from Lewistown High School, Class of 1955.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Earlier in life, he was employed by the Busy Beaver Lumber Company. He retired as a foreman from Your Building Center, Lewistown.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park at a future date.
Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
