Ruth Leona Hayes

Ruth Leona Hayes, 81, formerly of Kish Apartments, passed away on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at Ohesson Manor.

Born July 29, 1938, in Kingsley, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Hill) Hayes.

Ruth was the last surviving member of her family, having been proceeded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by close friends Deb and Steve Miner.

Ruth was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She loved to play bingo, word search puzzles, and spend time with friends and attend church.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, at the Lewistown Assembly of God Church, 160 Summit Drive, Lewistown, with the Rev. Richard Grimes officiating.

Interment will take place in The Cemetery Society of Harford PA at a later date.

Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, is in charge of the arrangements.
