Sharon L. Fetters, 74, of Milroy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior and husband, on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, in Granville Township, Lewistown.
Born Sept. 19, 1944, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Clayton B. and Rhoma Catherine (Louder) Wert. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, John W. Fetters Sr. on Sept. 24, 1995; and siblings, Esther Smith, Janice Roth, and Leonard and Clayton Wert.
She is survived by: son, John W. Fetters Jr., of Milroy; sisters, Naomi Jane Cameron, of Florida, Eleanor Smith and husband, Chip, of McVeytown, and Sue Ellen Schomer and husband, James, of State College; and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Chief Logan High School.
Sharon was a member of Paintersville Christian & Missionary Alliance Church and attended Milroy Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
In her earlier years, she was employed at Scotty's Fashions and in the bakery department of Walmart.
Sharon was a devout Christian and church was the center of her life. She was leader of her church's youth group in earlier days. She enjoyed baking, camping and devoted all her love to her son, John Jr. and her family. She loved her dogs, Meko and Pixie, and cats, Sampson and Delilah.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. John Hughes officiating.
Interment will take place at Paintersville CMA Cemetery, Back Maitland Road, Lewistown.
