Timothy G. Shumaker, 66, of Lewistown, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Born December 18, 1953, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Louie Shumaker and Naomi Jean (Druckemiller) Smarty.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: Pete Smarty, who raised him as his son.
He is survived by: wife, Cindy L. (Newman) Shumaker, of Lewistown, whom he shared 45 years of marriage; daughter, Tiffany M. Wyland, of Lewistown; two grandchildren, Victoria L. Wyland and Jessie M. Oxendine; siblings, Carolyn “Sue” McKnight, of Lewistown; Shelly Johnston and husband, Jerry, of Mechanicsburg, Louie Shumaker and wife, Kim, of Harrisburg.
He was a member of the Milroy Christian and Missionary Church.
Timothy was a Chief Logan High School graduate, Class of 1971, and a graduate of DuBois Business College.
He worked at a variety of companies throughout his working career; Empire Kosher, Wood-Mode, Lear and Trinity Plastics.
Timothy enjoyed going fishing and hunting, watching racing and had a passion of photography.
A receiving of friends will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2020, at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. Third St., Lewistown, with a memorial service to follow at 7 p.m., with Rev. Karen McCachren and Rev. Randy Hughes officiating.
