A. Marie Baumgardner

A.Marie Baumgardner, 85, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born on May 13, 1939, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Marvin W. Mundy Sr. and Alice (Shaffer) Mundy.  Marie was raised by the Harry Keiser family of McVeytown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by  her husband, Donald Baumgardner; a son, Randy Mendler, and a daughter, Cindy Linn Mendler; two brothers, Marvin W. Mundy and James H. Mundy.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Mendler and wife, Jodi, of Milroy, Brandon Fisher and wife, Melissa, of Allensville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Sunderland and husband, Thomas, of Lewistown, Ann Mort and husband, Robert, of Mifflintown.

Marie graduated from Rothrock High School in 1958.

She retired from the Holiday Inn and Clarion.

She loved crossword puzzles and her little dog Lia.

Per her wishes no services to be held.
