Albert 'Butch' O. Yeater

Albert O. "Butch" Yeater, 78, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:08 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born May 25, 1942, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Howard E. and Mary A. (Swank) Yeater.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: brothers, Samuel, Richard and Howard Yeater; and sisters, Jennie Traxler, Doris Specht and Patricia Deavor.

He is survived by: wife, Becky (Marks) Yeater; son, Jeremy Yeater and wife, Carrie, of Lewistown; granddaughter, Lilly-Jo Yeater; and a sister, Addiebell Marks, of Lewistown.

Albert was a member of Holy Communion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Yeagertown, and the Yeagertown Fire Company.

He was an avid muskie and walleye fisherman.  Later in life, he enjoyed going hunting with his son.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020, at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Juniata/W. 4th Street, Lewistown, with Rev. Philip Tundel officiating.
