Ann W. Stoicheff, 84, of Reedsville, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at Celebration Villa of Reedsville.
Born October 22, 1940, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie (Conner) Wakefield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Stoicheff; and siblings, Robert Wakefield, Edna Mae Goddard, and Jean Harmon.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen S. Zimmerman, of Burnham; grandchildren, Rachel and Conner Zimmerman; and a brother, Dean Wakefield and wife, Ann, of Milroy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish where she was active in the Companions of Pauline and volunteered at the Sacred Heart Thrift Shop.
She was a 1958 graduate of Lewistown High School. After high school Ann worked as a bookkeeper at The Pennsylvania State University for several years before marrying Dave in 1963. Ann’s family was her pride and joy. She especially enjoyed spending time at her grandchildren’s games and events.
A receiving of friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, with Father Kevin Coyle officiating.
Interment will take place at Juniata Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sacred Heart School in Lewistown.
