Anna K. Kovalchick, 91, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:02 p.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at William Penn nursing home.
Born on March 2, 1933, in Three Springs, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Beulah (Whitsel) Park.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George H. Kovalchick, who passed in December 2017; a brother, Larry J. Park; and a sister, Mary Casner.
She is survived by; siblings, Peggy L. Morrison and husband, William, of McVeytown, Judith Renninger and husband, Larry, of Mifflintown, Lana Bingaman and husband, Paul, of McVeytown; and a brother-in-law, Glenn Casner, of McVeytown.
Anna was a Protestant by faith.
She was a Saltillo High School graduate, Class of 1950.
Anna worked at Bethlehem Steel, Millers Mutual Insurance Company, and Energy Association of Pennsylvania during her working career.
She loved being outdoors and going to the cabin. She enjoyed going shopping , cooking for family gatherings, and planting flowers outside with her husband, George in the summer.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, October 14, 2024, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Woodlawn, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., with Pastor Kurtis Swisher officiating.
Interment will be held at Mattawana Cemetery.
