Annie T. Hallinger

Annie T. Hallinger, 103, of Yeagertown, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.

Born December 16, 1921, in Shrader, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary C (Genovese) Spagnoletti.

In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph P. Hallinger. Although they were married for a short two years, the time they were together was filled with love. She was also preceded in death by all her siblings and sons-in-law John B. Zavacky and Harry B. Krepps Jr. She is the last of her immediate family.

Annie is survived by her daughters, Anna M. “Margie” Zavacky and Jean E. Krepps; and grandchildren; J. Michael Zavacky (Helen) of St. Joseph, MI, Joseph E. Zavacky (Rebecca) of Alpharetta, GA, Anthony J. Zavacky of Lighthouse Point, FL, Angela M. Alonzo (Steven) of Enola, PA and Steven J. Krepps (Amy) of Leesburg, VA; great-grandchildren, Ryan Zavacky, Jordan Zavacky, Nathan Zavacky, Hannah Owens, Josephine Krepps; step great-grandchildren; Natalie Hamilton, Julia Hamilton, Emily Senter, Cameron Reay, Julie Florence; great great-grandchildren, Harper Owens, Dawson Owens and step great great-grandchild Rosie Senter.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish and worked at the American Viscose.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish with Father Kevin Coyle officiating.

Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in the memory of Annie may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 3 W. Monument Square, Suite 203, Lewistown, PA 17044.
